I'm working a survey project and trying to figure out the best way to
model/map statistical results (avg, max, min, totals, etc) for display in my
view. Right now I'm using the executeQuery() method and processing the
result into maps for use in the view.
How is everyone else doing their basic reporting needs? Do I need to add
Jasper support and design some of them, or are there some other slick ways?

Any example projects that do charting/reporting, etc?

Hello Jim
I had a similar problem for a very old version of XSteam
In my own situation I found that the simplest solution was to write
a short java program that, using the original XStream version,  to read back
the xml and save the new Objects using the standard java serialization.

When all the 'old' xml files have been converted ,  you can reverse the
scenario changing the XStream library.

I know it is not the best solution, but it works.

Good thought.

I've never played with XSL so I don't know if this would be easier than 
regular expressions, but either way, it's a pre-processing step which it 
would be good to avoid.

XSL is probably more reliable although the format of the file is pretty 
well fixed.

Hi,

Dennis has recently started some improvements [0] to the Apache Maven 
Site. In particular, I like the usage of breadcrumbs to help navigation 
so I would like to do the same for the Mojo Site and wanted to know what 
others think.

I have a small example site up [1] where people could take a look at the 
changes I am proposing. Basically, the publish date moved to the right 
such that the breadcrumbs can go on the left. [2] shows the current look 
to get the direct contrast.

This is basically the last update I would like to commit to the Mojo 
parent before calling a vote for its next release.

If nobody reports objections over the weekend, I would just assume lazy 
consensus and commit the required changes to the Mojo parent/site.

Still getting the same error.

I copy/pasted the first example from http://groovy.codehaus.org/Groovlets
into ROOT/index.groovy. I added the web.xml lines to ROOT/WEB-INF/web.xml. I
created the directory ROOT/WEB-INF/lib and copied the jar files from
C:\Groovy\lib to it (groovy, antlr, and asm).

I did NOT make the context change to server.xml. I wonder if that is the
problem. The ROOT webapp is implicitly defined I believe.

Here is part of the error I get:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/servlet/http/HttpServlet
